Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is a compact yet incredibly diverse park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It is famous for its lush groundwater forest, open grasslands, and the alkaline Lake Manyara itself, which attracts thousands of flamingos and other water birds. Despite its small size, the park offers a rich safari experience in a scenic setting.

Tree-climbing lions & rich wildlife
Lake Manyara is one of the few places in Africa where lions are known to climb trees. Other wildlife includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, and a wide variety of antelopes.
Birdwatcher’s paradise
With over 400 bird species recorded, the park is a dream destination for bird lovers, especially during the wet season when flamingos gather along the lake shores.
